Become a Mentor

Thank you for choosing to become a mentor. The most successful and influential relationships can be those between an adult mentor and a young person. Think about those people who were your mentors and roles models and what a difference it made in your life. Then, think about the type of mentoring opportunity you would like to have. That should encourage you to begin your journey toward becoming a mentor.

To find a mentoring program within the Coalition, please click FIND A MENTORING PROGRAM and contact the mentoring organization directly or you may fill out the contact information below and the Coalition will forward this information to one or more of these organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: When choosing a mentoring program to contact directly, please make sure that you ask if they are engaged in effective mentoring practices (i.e. screening and background checks, mentor training, monitoring and evaluation, closure of relationship). All referrals by the Coalition will be responded to within 7 business days. You may also call the Coalition office at 973-353-1173.
